2. Purpose of Personal Data Processing

 

The processing of personal data is based on the data controller’s legitimate interest, contractual relationship, and/or compliance with the data controller’s legal obligations. The processing of personal data may also be based on the data subject’s consent, which then serves as the legal basis for processing where applicable. The data controller’s legitimate interest is the right to conduct appropriate, justified, and lawful sales and marketing activities, including related profiling.

Personal data related to the customer is collected from the customer directly.

7. Right to Access, Rectify, and Object

 

The customer has the right to check what personal data concerning them has been stored in the register. A request for inspection must be submitted in writing to the person responsible for register matters at the data controller. The request can also be made in person at the address mentioned above. When making an inspection request in person, the customer must present proof of identity. Global Gear Ltd Oy will respond to data inspection requests in writing.

 

If there are errors in the customer’s data, the customer can request the data controller to correct the errors. The customer also has the right to prohibit the use of their data for direct marketing or market and opinion research by notifying the data controller.
